I'm Just Sayin`

You know that poster I was talking about? The Peep Show one. It’s available on Amazon. At least, it says it is. I’m not getting my hopes up though. I’m not sure how they magically found some only a few weeks after they said they couldn’t replace my “damaged” one. But if you want to try your luck, I’m not sure how long it’ll be available…. if it actually is now. For only $10 ($5 for the poster and $5 for shipping) it’s a really good deal.

I’m glad I’m not the only one! ^.^ Like I said, I did find the poster on the UK eBay. I even made an account and everything but they wouldn’t ship to the US >.< If I had the money I would like to buy one of those Multi-region DVD players so I can play region 2 DVDs.

    Living in America and loving British TV is hard. Really hard. You want to watch it and you pretty much have to watch it on YouTube. They do have series 1-6 of Peep Show on Hulu though. You can also buy the first series, but only the first. That’s only six episodes. Mine should be here in a week. I’ve only been able to watch it on my TV once before. I’m not sure everyone understands how shitty it is not to be able curl up on the couch and watch your favorite television show. I guess if I had one of those fancy-shmancy TVs can connect to the internet I would be all set but I don’t have that kind of cash. But that’s not what this is about….

This is about my outrage. As of right now there are two Peep Show posters and both of them are sold out pretty much everywhere. They are also discontinued. I managed to snag one and I thought I had bought the other… I thought. I looked on Amazon.co.uk because I figured I would have better luck. I was so happy when I got that email saying my Peep Show poster had shipped and would be there withing the week. A week goes by….two weeks go by…nothing. Finally I emailed the seller and they pretty much told me “Whoops, you’re not getting it.” Not only had it not actually shipped but it would never be shipping because it had been damaged. I never got an email telling me this. I had to email them. I then found it on eBay but, guess what, it won’t ship to the US. I am out of options. If anyone out there knows where I can get the “Everything I Know…” Peep Show poster in the US please please PLEASE let me know.

For those of you that didn’t see it, the main story is that Brian dates a blind girl who hates dogs. He tries to go for as long as he can without touching her so they can get to know each other first and she’ll, hopefully, overlook the fact that he’s a dog. She wants him to meet her parents so Stewie comes up with a plan. At dinner Brian tells them that he saved some children from a fire and had to be bandaged up. She finds out that he’s a dog and breaks up with him for lying about it. At the end Stewie tells Brian to just use a different voice and try to date her again, which he does. There’s another story line with Peter falling down the stairs but that’s pretty much it: he falls down the stairs a bunch of times.

I’m not one of those people that gets offended. That show didn’t offend me because they tricked a blind girl I just thought it was beneath Brian. Maybe I have this view of Brian being a romantic but it just seems like he would have told her. He could abstain from having sex with her when she was practically begging for it but he couldn’t tell her the truth. I get why he did it but I think it was taken too far. The “trip” to the Eiffel Tower was kinda cute but the beating up the “muggers” had me rolling my eyes. Quagmire’s hooker was funny though. I hate to say it but I’m starting to agree more and more with those people that say the show is starting to go downhill. Brian is my favorite character and if he starts being a dick I’m going to be pissed.

And where the hell was my American Dad?!

Paget Brewster. Now before all you fan-girls crucify me for even suggesting such a thing hear me out. If you don’t know who she is… well… you should. You can probably most recognize her from Criminal Minds where she plays Emily Prentiss. She’s also done some voices for American Dad… so they must at least know each other. The only voice I can remember her doing is Thundercat, Stan’s second wife when they go to Saudi Arabia. She is one of the few actresses I can stand. She can do comedy. She’s gorgeous. She’s about the same age as Seth. They are both from New England, she’s from Massachusetts, he’s from Connecticut. And I just think they would look cute together. Oooh, but I guess I should say that (according to Wikipedia) she is seeing someone. But that doesn’t really matter… he’s probably not better than Seth, haha. If he *has* to be with someone, I would like it to be her.

Also, I was watching a special on PBS. It was Hugh Laurie (Dr. House) in concert. I would give my left arm…. well I’m left-handed so my right arm to see them sing together live. Their styles aren’t exactly the same but they are both kinda jazzy. They both have a deep love for pure music. I think it would work. And I thought it was kinda cute that Seth’s album is called Music Is Better Than Words and Hugh’s is called Let Them Talk. I almost forgot, he did an episode of Family Guy! So there’s that. It needs to happen.
